If the motor works in a place with high humidity or corrosive gas in the air for a long time, its shell is easy to rust or corrode and affect its service life. In order to protect the motor shell and strengthen its rust and corrosion resistance, when the motor operates in an adverse environment, its outer surface should be cleaned and coated with a layer of epoxy iron red primer. When the primer is dry, spray a layer of gray alkyd enamel. If the motor runs for a long time and the paint layer peels off, it should be sprayed again to keep the motor shell in good rust and corrosion resistance.
Generally, the motor casing is not easy to fail, and the casing failure is mostly caused by external force. If the fracture is relatively light, only small cracks can be used for mechanical clamping and welding. However, it should be pointed out that the deformation of the welded shell shall not affect the position of the hole of the end cover shaft. If the position of the shaft hole changes, the stator and rotor are not concentric. If the crack is large, it is very difficult to make the shell not deform after welding.
